Wild About Travel specialises in wildlife holidays, bird watching tours and culture tours to the countries that we and our local partners know best - India, Bhutan, Ecuador, Panama and Trinidad and Tobago. We began as Wild About India in 2005, offering a range of tours to see the spectacular wildlife of the sub-continent. Many of our clients returned to book two or three more holidays in the space of five years to explore different parts of India. Increasingly we were asked “Where else are you going to be Wild About?”

So, by popular demand, Wild About India evolved into Wild About Travel in 2009. We now have a portfolio of five different destinations, all of which will feature on this website over the coming months.  Currently you can source information on India, Ecuador, Panama and Trinidad and Tobago (see left menu), with Bhutan to follow. 

We hope you will explore our itinerary pages and photo galleries and these will inspire you to want to visit these unique destinations.

We are proud that much of our business comes through recommendations – friends talking to friends and our clients posting trip reports on the internet. This keeps our advertising budget low and we can pass on these savings to you.

Two-way sharing of information is important to us. Wild About Travel is pleased to offer guidance and advice prior to the tour and is equally keen to receive feedback after each holiday. By sharing experiences, including what birds and mammals can be expected and what is actually seen on our tours in the form of trip reports or completed checklists, we can all benefit from being better informed.

We would like to say a huge thank you to those who have sent in images for use on this website, in displays or to brighten itinerary pages.  We also hope to have a series of photo books available for purchase, with proceeds donated to conservation.
